HeForShe Dialogue - 菁英对话

Official banner for the CCI France Chine HeForShe Dialogue 2026 on gender equality and structural change.

On March 6, 2026, CCI FRANCE CHINE had the privilege of hosting the new edition of its HeForShe Dialogue, bringing together an exceptional panel of business leaders, diplomats, and experts across Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and online.

With 400 participants onsite and more than 375,000 viewers online, this dialogue once again demonstrated the growing collective commitment to advancing gender equality within organizations and across societies.

Opening remarks by Christophe Lauras, President of CCI FRANCE CHINE, and Liu Chun, President of CCCME, set the tone for the discussion:

In today’s complex global environment, diversity of perspectives is not an option, it is a condition for better decision-making and stronger organizations.

Throughout the dialogue, speakers shared very concrete experiences from the field, highlighting that real progress depends on structural change:

Embedding diversity and inclusion into governance and leadership accountability

Building stronger talent pipelines to support women’s access to decision-making roles

Rethinking leadership models in response to new generational expectations

Ensuring AI and emerging technologies become tools that reduce bias rather than amplify it

A heartfelt thank you to our outstanding speakers for their candid insights and commitment:

Myriam Pavageau (Embassy of France in China)

Cai Jinqing (Kering Greater China)

Esra Bora (CMA CGM China)

Christy Sun (Yatsen Group / Galénic)

Valérie Salviac-Dijkstra (EDF China)

Yvonne Yang (Saint-Gobain Asia)

As well as our moderators Christine Miles, Fabien Pacory, Christophe Lauras and Caroline Penard, for leading this dynamic conversation across our three chapters.

We were also honored by inspiring video messages from Frédéric Sanchez, CEO of Fives and President of MEDEF International and CCI France International, who highlighted how diversity and gender equality are powerful drivers of innovation, competitiveness, and sustainable growth.

Our sincere thanks as well to Olivier Rousseau, Global CEO of SGD Pharma, for reminding us that gender equality is an integral part of responsible leadership and ESG commitments, and a key pillar in building resilient and forward-looking organizations.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us in person and online.

The journey continues and we look forward to reconvening next year to measure the progress made.
