Exclusive Conference – Steve Nielsen, Managing Director, BWT Alpine Formula One Team

On the occasion of the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix, CCI FRANCE CHINE had the pleasure of welcoming Steve Nielsen, Managing Director of the BWT Alpine Formula One Team, for an exclusive interview.
 
Opened by Emmanuel Gros, Vice President Shanghai of CCI FRANCE CHINE, the evening  was dedicated to leadership, performance and innovation.
 
Achille Dulac, Head of Commercial Acquisitions, introduced to the guests the Alpine brand and its positioning within Formula One, highlighting the strategic vision behind the team’s global development.
 
Pascal CHEN, Deputy Director of CCI FRANCE CHINE, then conducted the interview with Steve Nielsen leading an engaging discussion on leadership in high-performance environments.
 
With more than 30 years in Formula 1, Steve Nielsen shared behind-the-scenes insights into team leadership, operational excellence and decision-making under extreme pressure. From managing a 1,000-person international team across more than 20 races worldwide to making critical race-day decisions within seconds, the exchange revealed fascinating parallels between Formula 1 and business leadership.
 
The conversation also explored the growing role of innovation, marketing and global partnerships in Formula 1, and what business leaders can learn from the sport’s culture of speed, precision and continuous improvement.
The conference concluded with closing remarks by Caroline PENARD, General Manager of CCI FRANCE CHINE.
