Agri-Food Club : Special Session on Agriculture & Intellectual Property in China

On June 11, 2026, CCI FRANCE CHINE hosted a National Event simultaneously in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou (as well as online), titled "Agri-Food Club: Special Session on Agriculture and Intellectual Property in China," featuring experts from the French Embassy in China and Hopscotch.
This session was designed to help operators looking to develop in the Chinese market to better protect their brand image and technologies. It provided a comprehensive overview of existing tools and best practices for establishing an effective protection strategy (including geographical indications, trademarks, patents, and contracts), both online and offline.
The event focused on:
- News & Regulation Updates: Highlighting the key milestones of the first half of the year, with a specific focus on Decree 248.
- French House Project: Presenting the upcoming "French House" project by the Hopscotch teams.
- Agriculture & Intellectual Property: Providing an in-depth analysis of the protection of geographical indications in China, detailing the entire process from registration to the defense of intellectual property rights within the Chinese legal system, illustrated by practical case studies.
We would like to thank our moderator, Mr. Alban RENAUD (President of the Agro Club, Adaltys lawfirm), and our distinguished speakers: Mr. Cédric PRÉVOST, Ms. Caroline ROBERT, and Mr. Max MONOT (Agricultural Counselors at the French Embassy in China), Mr. Antoine THISSANDIER (INPI Counselor at the French Embassy in China), and Ms. Laurence EVRARD (General Manager China, Hopscotch), for their insightful analysis and expertise.
