From China to Asia : Structuring Growth via Hong Kong & Singapore
Event language(s)
English

INTRODUCTION
Hong Kong and Singapore have long been regarded as two of Asia’s leading business hubs, often compared for their efficient environments, strategic positioning as gateways to regional markets, and strong financial ecosystems.
Historically, some French companies have chosen to enter the Chinese market through holding structures based in Hong Kong or Singapore. Others, already established directly in mainland China, are now considering setting up entities in these cities to support their expansion across Asia.
This conference aims to provide practical insights into the key differences between Hong Kong and Singapore when evaluating a new set-up or a potential reorganisation. It will not only address the broader business environment, but also highlight lesser-known operational and management practices that can significantly impact the structuring and governance of local entities.
