Mr. LIU ZhenChief Legal Director of Xiaomi Group

Zhen LIU heads the global litigation team of Xiaomi. As a senior member of Xiaomi, he manages IP and other commercial litigation in a wide range of jurisdictions across Asia, Europe and North America. Meanwhile, as the head of the legal teams supporting the licensing, investment and financing divisions, he has handled a wide variety of domestic and international IP law and transactional matters across all business divisions of the company, providing advice and managing resolution.

After Mr. Liu earned a BS in computer science and worked as a Programmer for years, he received his law degree from Renmin University of China. Prior to joining Xiaomi in 2013, Mr Liu was an Attorney at law and a Patent Attorney in Chinese top law firms with an emphasis on litigation, where he gained extensive experience of IP and commercial litigation.
