On October 29, 2026, CCI FRANCE CHINE gathered its community for a Purchasing & Supply Chain Committee session dedicated to practical tips and best practices for dealing with China Customs.

Two experts shared their experience and answered questions from the participants:

Steve TIAN, Customs Operations and Global Trade Compliance Expert at MIC China, and DING Yining, Air Freight Department Manager at Shanghai Hanglian Customs Declaration.

The discussion covered concrete situations faced by companies on a daily basis: managing and closing PT Books when equipment moves between projects or sites, customs storage options, handling surplus equipment at the end of a project, 3C/CCC requirements, imports of cosmetics from the EU under the new customs rules, and how to solve HS code discrepancies in bonded transfers.
