DR. Francois WANGEIPM Professor, China MD

After a short period of work in a consultancy cabinet in France, Francois WANG launched

and developed himself in a long career of industry for more than 20 years, first in a Valeo’s

automotive clutch plant in France, then in Saint-Gobain Group in both Europe and Asia Pacific

at its different levels of organization: green-field investment project, plants (incl. automotive glass plant) , entities, BUs / divisions, regional headquarter / delegation. He has accumulated his rich experience / multi-competencies / extensive expertise in Purchasing & Supply Chain / Finance & Acquisition / Operations & General Management, and this is through many different functions such as Cost Controller / Financial Manager / CFO / General Manager, and in the field of Purchasing & Supply Chain, he has gone through the positions of Purchasing Director of SG Glass Division in China and IPO Director for 3 divisions of SG in China, Purchasing Director of SG Group in China, Purchasing & Supply Chain Director of SG Gypsum Division in Thailand and Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator for the South East Asia region.

François holds Master of Science in Mathematics with Nankai University in China and Doctorate of Management Science with Management Institute of Rennes University in France. He’s fluent in Mandarin / French / English, also with basic knowledge in Japanese and Thai language.

François’ initial profession was Mathematics Professor of high school and Assistant Professor of university. After his long and successful career in the Industry, he’s very happy to join EIPM China as Professor & Senior Trainer and Managing Director beginning of 2016 and to bring not just his profound academic basis and considerable practical experience but his passionate enthusiasm in the education / training / research, and this time in the field of Purchasing & Supply Chain Management.
