Countless conferences are held on the topic of Industry 4.0 or Smart Manufacturing, during which Predictive Maintenance is almost invariably cited as a “low-hanging fruit”, with potential for the highest returns for relatively low investments. However, concrete examples of customer applications are few and far between! For this special session of the CCIFC’s “Industry of the Future” Working Group, we have invited three experts to share their practical perspectives on this intriguing and elusive subject!
Alibaba Cloud’s David Dai will explore the internet giant’s technological ecosystem and an unparalleled China experience in large-scale smart solutions.
Kurpup’s Pierre Angot, a frequent speaker at industry events, will look at the role of IoT sensors in combination with AI.
Siveco’s Guillaume Gimonet will share practical experience from 15 years on the ground with technologies for maintenance improvement in China.
The three concise and to-the-point 20-min presentations will be followed by a panel discussion with Q&A. We will take this opportunity to identify topics of interest for the following sessions.

David Dai
David Dai is Business Development Manager for Alibaba Cloud Europe (www.alibabacloud.com). Based in Paris since 2002, after graduating from Telecom Paris, David worked successively for Bull and Huawei in technical positions, before joining Alibaba Cloud in 2017. He focuses on developing the company’s ecosystem of partners and clients in Western Europe.

Pierre Angot
Pierre Angot is the co-founder and CEO of Kurnup (www.kurnup.com), a predictive maintenance company based on IOT sensors. Pierre is a Data Science engineer who started a tele-health company, Medway, later acquired. He then worked as an AI consultant for Fortune 500 corporations, before founding Kurnup.

Guillaume Gimonet
Guillaume Gimonet is COO of Siveco China (www.sivecochina.com). With a long track record delivering Smart Maintenance solutions for infrastructures and industrial plants, Guillaume also oversees Siveco's Shanghai R&D center, dedicated to IoT and mobility since 2008. Prior to Siveco, Guillaume was working in the paper industry in Shandong.

Bruno Lhopiteau
Managing Director

A 20-year veteran of the Chinese maintenance market, Bruno Lhopiteau (cn.linkedin.com/in/brunolhopiteau) is the founder of Siveco China, the country’s largest maintenance consultancy and a pioneer in the development of Smart O&M technologies, with a focus on mobile solutions “for the worker of tomorrow”. He also sits on the board of several companies dealing with plant and building engineering in China and lectures on Industrial Risk Management at the Sino-European School of Technology of Shanghai University
