Zhanjiang City & French Companies Exchange Session

On August 21, 2026, CCI FRANCE CHINE hosted the "Zhanjiang City & French Companies Exchange Session" at its Guangzhou office. The event brought together French business representatives for an in-depth presentation on investment opportunities in Zhanjiang, an emerging industrial city strategically located in the central Asia-Pacific region.

The session featured a delegation from the Zhanjiang Investment Promotion Bureau, led by Mr. Li Jianjun, Director. The delegation presented Zhanjiang's positioning as a convergence point of national strategies, including its role as Guangdong's Pilot Zone for RCEP Service and a Guangdong Pilot FTZ Linkage Development Zone.

They also emphasized about Zhanjiang's advantages as a national comprehensive transportation hub, a green city of low-carbon energy, and its zero-carbon advantages including a state-level zero-carbon industrial park and a national hydrogen pilot park. The city also boasts 15 provincial-level or above development zones, over 666 hectares of industrial land reserve, and 1.8 million square meters of standard factory workshops.

The key takeaway: Zhanjiang offers French companies a unique combination of major industrial anchors, competitive industrial clusters, substantial policy incentives, and strategic location—making it a compelling investment destination in South China.
