Saint-Gobain inaugurates its 54th industrial site in China
Saint-Gobain opens a new state-of-the-art factory in Yangzhou
On May 17th, Saint-Gobain opens a new state-of-the-art factory in Yangzhou. The 54th industrial site of the Group in China and the 104th in Asia.
Aimed at producing the last generation of gypsum based plasters for the local construction market, this new factory will allow Saint-Gobain to support the strong growth that the Group has experienced in China in recent years, and especially during the past twelve months.
It complies with the highest standards in term of industrial performance, safety and environmental protection.
The ceremony was successfully held in the presence of Javier Gimeno, Senior VP of the Saint-Gobain Group and CEO APAC, his Excellency Laurent Bili, Ambassador of France to China, benoit guidee, Consul General of France in Shanghai and officials from Yangzhou city.
