CCI FRANCE CHINE - Roundtable with Jiangsu MOFCOM
On Wednesday, June 15th, 2022, CCI FRANCE CHINE, the economic department of the Consulate General of France in Shanghai, and the Mofcom of Jiangsu together with several French enterprises attended an online #policy #exchange meeting held by the #Jiangsu Provincial Government.
On the Jiangsu side were present on site: the Deputy Secretary General of the Jiangsu Government, Huang Lan, the Jiangsu Department of Commerce, and various relevant departments in Jiangsu.
On the other side, online, were Christophe Lauras, President of CCI FRANCE CHINE, René Consolo, Deputy Consul General of France in Shanghai, Pierre Moussy, Economic Counsellor of the French General Consulate in Shanghai, and senior executives of 50 French enterprises. 8 companies’ representative had the opportunity to ask directly their questions including:
AccorHotels, Air Liquide, Arkema, BNP Paribas, EDF, EOLANE, SAFRAN, TotalEnergies.
The objective of the meeting was to strengthen the #communication mechanism between the government and French enterprises and to deepen the #economic and #trade cooperation between Jiangsu and France. Throughout the meeting, questions and answers were exchanged between the various attending players regarding policies, struggles and expectations in the context of the health crisis.
CCI FRANCE CHINE expressed their gratitude towards the heads of relevant departments and bureaus who listened to the opinions and suggestions of the attending French enterprises.
