Green Belt training will allow participants to learn how to lead Lean Six Sigma projects in order to solve a problem and improve a process.

Green Belt

During Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training the participants will understand how to use DMAIC structure:

  • Define
  • Measure,
  • Analyze
  • Improve
  • Control

Using a "learning by doing" approach, LSS GB candidates will define a process with a problem at the very beginning of the training and improve the process in the end of training. The candidate will learn the basic statistics needed to analyze process data and the different tools such as Histogram, Pareto chart, Fishbone diagram, and Impact/Difficulty Matrix.

A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a professional who is well educated in the Lean Six Sigma methodology.

The person leads or supports improvement projects, typically as a part time role, 20% of the time. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt understands the phases of DMAIC, Six Sigma tools and standard principles of Lean.

The training covers Lean Six Sigma DMAIC project structure:

  1. Define the problem that needs to be solved.
  2. Measure the current problem and baseline the process.
  3. Analyze the process and identify the cause of the problem.
  4. Improve the process by implementing and verifying the improvements.
  5. Control the new process

The Candidate will lead a LSS GB project based on the project template provided during the training.

Each participant will receive a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate after the completed training and one LSS GB project delivered based on the project template.
