Cloud computing has been one of the hottest topics in IT for the last years. While the technology has the potential to seriously change the way companies run their IT, many companies are still unclear about the realizable benefits, potential risks and various definitions surrounding the concept. The range of options goes from internet-based public clouds offered by the likes of Amazon to more specialized private clouds ran by IT service companies to building an own cloud environment in ones data center.
T-Systems’ Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Arkadiusz Czopor, will give an overview of the various choices available, underlying technologies as well as benefits and possible pitfalls. Also, he will discuss his own experience – from small-scale server virtualization to large-scale global cloud computing projects. You will receive a first-hand overview of how the technology impacts you and your business.

Arkadiusz is currently running the IT and telecommunications operations of Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiary T-Systems in Greater China. He’s an expert in the field with two decades of industry experience. |

He defined and steered the sales and marketing policy for France, and thereafter for European development (Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Germany, etc.). Settled in Shanghai since 2007, he exports the ip-label.newtest know how in Asia from China. |
