Bilan 2010 des évolutions du droit de l'environnement en Chine

Le Groupe de Travail "Environnement" propose pour ce premier rendez-vous de 2011 de faire un bilan de l'année écoulée.

Pour ce faire, le groupe de travail s'intéressera essentiellement aux évolutions dans le domaine de l'environnement en Chine (evolutions politiques, juridiques et reglementaires) en ce qu'elles peuvent affecter les entreprises étrangères. Une présentation brève des conclusions du livre blanc de la Chambre de Commerce Européenne sera faite également à cette occasion.

Frédérik CORNU

After having worked in Egypt, UK, Japan, France, UAE and Iran, Frederik has been working in China since 2000 for Degremont (SUEZ Environment) and then for SOGREAH, a French engineering and consultancy group, notably on urban environmental projects financed by the World Bank. He occupied different positions such as Commissioning Manager, Project Manager, Team Leader and Deputy General Manager.
In 2006, Frédérik became the Business Development Director of Bureau Veritas (China), Industry and Facilities Division.
Frederik obtained a M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the ESTP-Cachan (France), a Master in Structural and Civil Engineering from the University of Liverpool (England) and an Executive MBA from CEIBS (China).

Olivier DUBUIS

Olivier Dubuis was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1996. He holds a LLM in International Private Law, a LLM in Business Law and a LLB in General Private Law. He is practicing in Shanghai since 1998 and is now a Partner in charge of UGGC Shanghai office. He has been an elected member of the French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in China for five years.

Areas of expertise: Foreign Investments, Environment law, Distribution, Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Litigation and international arbitration.

QiMeng HAN

Partner, member of the Paris Bar and co-head of the Shanghai office since 2004. Qimeng holds an LL.M from Wuhan University and spent several years in France, where he successfully completed a doctorate in public law at the University of Caen. He joined GLN in 1995 and has developed a practice specialising in foreign direct investment projects in China, with particular expertise in State-owned assets issues, land, resources and construction. He was also a key advisor on reforming, restructuring and privatising State-owned enterprises in Hubei Province in a project sponsored by the World Bank.
