Inter-Chamber Breakfast Seminar, Thursday 26th February

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China and SwissCham Beijing invite you to a breakfast seminar on:

Working Capital Optimization: Improve your liquidity

A Seminar presented by

Dr. Stéphane Grand, founder of SJ Grand

and

Marc d'Antras, Senior Consultant, former Saint-Gobain China CFO

At Crowne Plaza Sun Palace Beijing

Facing both a deteriorating domestic economy and a moribund international market, businesses in China need to develop a coherent plan for what is likely be a very difficult 2009. Given the unique circumstances of the current crisis, improving financial flexibility should form the cornerstone of any serious attempt to prepare for the year ahead.
This presentation will provide participants with a method to do just that, by addressing how a firm can rebalance its working capital. If managed properly, your working capital accounts can be critical sources of liquidity; but if inefficiencies are allowed to persist, they can easily turn into net consumers of your liquidity. Using a fictional case study, Dr. Grand will walk participants through the process of trimming receivables, reducing the burden of inventory and renegotiating the terms of payables.
Hopefully, this presentation will allow you to turn a cold shoulder to the fear and debilitating anxiety that the credit crisis has given rise to. After all, with a firm financial position in place, you should be able to pay more attention to what really matters: your business.

A breakfast will be provided during the seminar.
