From expert to manager, from a simple role of controlling only yourself to a complex position of leading a team, are you prepared to face your new challenge? This training session will help you to understand the role of manager, the environment, the process, the involvement… better, and enable you with some practical tools to start your successful career as manager.

The training intended for:
New managers or junior managers, willing to enhance their managerial thinking and techniques.

Objectives:
By the end of this module, the participants will be able to:
- understand the real scope of managerial activities;
- define their own “managerial roles” according to their environment needs and expectations;
- put in practice a management-oriented decision-making process;
- create a “performance-oriented” managerial environment.

DAY 1: UNDERSTANDING THE MANAGERIAL PROCESS
- What is management? The managerial attitude
- The management process: planning, organizing, directing, controlling
- The “added-value” management roles: contacts, information process, decision-making
- The new manager priorities: setting agendas and building networks

DAY 2: THE MANAGER IN ACTION
- Understanding the managerial environment
- Analyzing managerial situations
- Making effective managerial decisions
- The managerial mindset: from individuals to teams
