Dear members and friends,

The French Chamber of Commerce in Canton is pleased to invite you to participate in its Finance Working Group, Thursday, December 15 at 8pm while enjoying a buffet dinner at Senses Restaurant in Hilton Baiyun Hotel.

This Working Group is exclusively reserved to top executive evolving in the financial department of companies - member of the French Chamber. It is an occasion to meet counterparts from other companies in Guangdong Province and try to tackle some of your common issues.

The topic of this 4th session is internal control. Internal control (such as reviews, checks and balances, methods and procedures) is instituted by an organization to conduct its business in an orderly and efficient manner, safeguard its assets and resources, deter and detect errors, fraud, and theft, ensure accuracy and completeness of its accounting data, produce reliable and timely financial and management information, and ensure adherence to its policies and plans.

The objective of this meeting is for each member to share their respective experience, with examples of risks and how their procedures protect them from these risks.
