Trophée des Talents Chine 2017

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (CCI France Chine), in partnership with French Embassy in China, ESSEC Business School and Valeo China, held the fifth edition of “Trophée des Talents Chine 2017” in Canton on Tuesday, September 19th 2017, at Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich Hotel.

The awards ceremony took place during the Welcome Back Annual Cocktail organized by the CCI France Chine, gathering over 170 persons, including all laureates, the official partners and decision-makers of French and Chinese member companies of the French Chamber of Commerce. We were delighted to have Mr. Javier GIMENO, president of CCI France Chine, Mr. Pierre MARTIN, representative of Consulate of France in Guangzhou, Mr. Maxime CHATELLIER, representative of ESSEC Business School in North-eastern Asia, Mr. ZHANG Jingsong, PCE & PEL operation director of Valeo China.

“Trophée des Talents Chine 2017” is a competition dedicated to Chinese students following Sino-French majors, in order to make those younger generations aware of tomorrow’s challenges. The aim is to evaluate the business, technical and linguistic skills of the best students regarding actual topics, selected by our official partners, and to reward the most innovative and most talented of them.

The aim is twofold: highlight and encourage Sino-French sections, and support linkages between the business world and the education.

The topic 2017: “How will artificial intelligence change the means of travel in our future?

After the fierce competition, the CCI France Chine and its partners had the honor to congratulate and reward the following students:

  • 1st prize: Ms. WANG Yucheng from Nanjing University
  • 2nd prize: Ms. YUAN Jingya from China Foreign Affairs University
  • 3rd prize: Mr. LUO Shengxi from Tsinghua University
  • 4th : Ms.YANG Yanping  from Beijing Foreign Studies University
  • 5th : Ms. PENG Yuqing from Guangzhou Alliance Française
  • 6th : Ms. YANG Jingyi from Shanghai University
  • 7th : Ms. DONG Kuiyu from Nanchang University
  • 8th ex æquo: Ms. HUANG Rui from South China Normal University
  • 8th ex æquo: Mr. LI Baiao from Xiamen University
  • 10th ex æquo: Ms. SHANG Kaiyuan from University of International Business and Economics
  • 10th ex æquo: M. GUO Xinchao from Beijing Language and Culture University

This annual event has been made successfully through the loyal support of all partners of the French Chamber of Commerce: French Embassy in China, ESSEC Business School, Valeo, Sofitel Sunrich Hotel, Aiwines wine&spirits and JIARUI fine food Oyster’Or from St Vaast La Hougue – produced by Huitre HELIE.
