China has been signing new tax treaties with many European countries, notably the Netherlands and France, with a reduction in withholding tax etc. What would be the implication to your holding structure?
OECD has also been considering new initiatives, action plan to combat Base Erosion and Profits Shifting (BEPS) which would also have implications on transfer pricing, holding structure as well as permanent establishment.
All this would mean that proper structuring planning on investment in China would be more important going forward.
