The global data economy is worth over $900 billion and yet who is safeguarding our personal data? Company such as Google, Facebook, Alibaba, Tencent are currently extracting their financial value. Data analytics will soon be indispensable to any economic activity and decision-making process, both public and private. Blockchain technology is a cryptographic tool offering solutions to put data governance into the hands of citizens. It offers to radically change our digital future and pave the way for more traceable and transparent commerce and better personal privacy for all of us.
Come join us to understand what is blockchain technology ? Understand what is Bitcoin, the first real use case of the blockchain technology ever created and the new era of crypto economy coming ahead of us.
The first blockchain appeared in 2008 with the digital currency bitcoin. Blockchain is the underlying technology. If blockchain and bitcoin have been built together, there are many players today that envisage blockchain technology for other uses than digital currency.
Blockchain may be defined as a storage and transmission information technology that is transparent, secured and that works without intermediary/central review body.
This technology opens up major prospects of transformation in many fields.
What is the legal framework of this technology? Is code law? What are the different uses of blockchain? (crypto-currencies, tokens, Smart contracts, dApps, inscriptions on blockchain, etc.) What are the legal issues at stake?
