On around the 26 April 2018, the Chinese State Intellectual Property Office and the Chinese Supreme People’s Court publish the white paper on IP Protection in 2017. The White Paper is rich of information on statistics, legislation and policy. A correct and in-depth understanding of the document is very important to comprehend the status quo and the further evolution in the country.
The CCIFC IP Working Group organizes this annual synthesis conference for French and other foreign companies in China. Invited distinguished experts will give comments and advice regarding.

Mr. Yuan has worked for 9 years in the IP tribunal of Shanghai No.2 Intermediate Court.

Liu Daochen is a well-known PRC lawyer with 20-year experience in the field of IP litigation. For one of his clients, he obtained the largest damage ever awarded for patent infringement in China (RMB 157.5 mln, i.e. EUR 21 mln). Daochen will share insights from his extensive experience regarding obtaining compensation for IP infringement in PRC courts.

Feng Shujie is professor and senior counsellor at LLR-HD, a Paris-headquartered European IP firm with offices in Beijing and Shanghai. Shujie has rich experience in advising companies on the protection of intellectual property. With a Ph.D. of Pantheon-Sorbonne University, Shujie is also Vice-President of the Trademark Case-Law Committee of the Supreme Court.
