One of the core missions of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China is to develop and establish strong partnerships with both French and Chinese authorities and official organizations so as to:

  • defend the best interests and rights of our members throughout China
  • improve the awareness of the French Chamber and French business community toward both communities

MOFCOM - Ministry of Commerce

The Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of the Government of the People's Republic of China, is an executive agency of the State Council of China. It is responsible for formulating policy on foreign trade, export and import regulations, foreign direct investments, consumer protection, market competition and negotiating bilateral and multilateral trade agreements.

CCPIT - China Council for the Promotion of International Trade

Established in May 1952, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) comprises VIPS, enterprises and organizations representing the economic and trade sectors in China. It is the most important and the largest institution for the promotion of foreign trade in China.

The aims of the CCPIT are to operate and promote foreign trade, to use foreign investment, to introduce advanced foreign technologies, to conduct activities of Sino-foreign economic and technological cooperation in various forms, to promote the development of economic and trade relations between China and other countries and regions around the world, and to promote the mutual understanding and friendship between China and peoples and economic and trade circles of all nations around the world, in line with law and government policies of the People’s Republic of China.

CCOIC - China Chamber of International Commerce

China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) is a nationwide business organization in China, representing the most dynamic and internationalized Chinese companies of all sizes, sectors, and regions, as well as national and local non-governmental organizations.

CCOIC's mission is, in accordance with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, to expand the international business relationship to the benefit of its membership and, more broadly, the Chinese economy. It favors constructive engagement with foreign countries to eliminate trade and investment barriers and develop a rules-based commercial environment; improvement of business self-regulation in China and representation of China in the setting of international business rules and standards; advocacy for members whenever the Chinese or foreign government makes decisions that crucially affect corporate interests; spreading of business expertise to the development of Chinese economy, international business cooperation and the growth and prosperity of less developed countries.

Affiliated to China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), CCOIC is governed by a board of directors composed of over 100 distinguished corporate leaders, out of its over 600 core members. The current chair is Mr. Wan Jifei, Chairman of CCPIT. CCOIC and CCPIT were two brands, one organization. At the end of 2007, CCOIC held its first annual conference at the Great Hall of the People. Since then, CCOIC began operating independently.

CCOIC served as the National Committee of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) since China’s entry into ICC in 1994.  Headquartered in Beijing, CCOIC maintains a professional staff of policy experts, lawyers, trainers, event organizers, and communicators. Special initiatives covering banking rules, new energy, recycling resources, infrastructure, education and training, debt collection, and real estate mobilize the involvement and contribution of members with the backup of CCOIC branches and expert commissions.

ACFIC - All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce

Established in 1953 and under the leadership of CPC, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), also called the All-China General Chamber of Industry and Commerce (ACGCIC), is a people's group and a chamber of commerce with the enterprises and personages of the non-public economic sector as its main component, a channel for the CPC and the government to liaise with the personages of the non-public sector, an aide to the government in administering and serving the non-public economy. ACFIC's work is also a key component of the CPC's united front and economic work.

ACFIC is a key organization of the CPC-led united front and a key unit of the People's Political Consultative Conference, with basic characteristics of the united front, the economy and the non-public sector.

CICCPS - China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector

The China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector is a nationwide Chamber of Commerce whose preliminary establishment was carried out under the leadership of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and in China it is the 1st comprehensive Chamber of Commerce to assist the internationalization of the private sector and the 1st international Chamber of Commerce to help private enterprises "Going abroad".

The mission of the Chamber of Commerce: Publicizing policies, providing services, reflecting appeals, defending rights and intensifying self discipline.

Six categories of service: Government liaisons, investment projects, financial support, human resources, legal affairs, international cooperation.

The French Chamber is part of the French Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry Overseas (CCIFI), consisting of 111 chambers in 81 countries – of which around 20 are in Asia – representing the most important private network of French companies in the world. The French Chamber collaborates closely with the other chambers in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong-Kong. Moreover, it is an active member of the French Team for Export (in partnership with the French Trade Commission), which is dedicated to promote French companies in China.

ERAI Shenzhen

Friday, December 19th, ERAI Shenzhen and CCIFC South China have signed a partnership agreement

On Friday, December 19th 2014, ERAI in Shenzhen and CCIFC Southern China formalized a partnership agreement to enable French companies to benefit from an integrated service offer for their international development in Southern China, in Shenzhen and Guangzhou. This partnership is following the letter of intent signed by ERAI, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (CCIFC) and UBIFRANCE, the French Agency for International Business Development on the occasion of the official visit of the French Minister of Foreign Affairs in China, Laurent FABIUS and Jean-Jack QUEYRANNE, President of the Rhône-Alpes Region in October 2014.
